Melanoma means "black tumor".  Black is the color of the warrior's mood when going into battle and the melanoma patient is in a battle for his/her life.

Why the black ribbon?

We can change the statistics from Melanoma.  That's right - YOU can make a difference.  This is one cancer each one of us can do something about!

Your skin health is so important to us -- Families Against Melanoma.  We have each lost a loved one to Melanoma, or are currently fighting personally or with our loved one the diagnosis of Melanoma.  We are dedicated to educating you so your family will remain skin healthy and cancer free.
